Despite what people have said and spread about McLain High School for Science/Technology it is an amazing school and has changed in the past couple of years the administrators are turning the school around. The Teachers are positive and they care about the success of every student. I love this school it's unlike any other in Tulsa. The MOST (not all) of the classes are small which gives the teachers the ability to connect with all of their student. I believe it would be a better school if people would stop ragging on it. but since it has the old reputation it limits the amount of students who are excited about coming here it isn't its reputation and people have got to start realizing that. "Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are." Carnegie, Dale

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction (OCCT EOI) exams to test students in high school in several subjects. The OCCT EOI is a high school graduation requirement. The OCCT EOI exams are standards-based tests, which means they measure specific skills defined for each subject by the state of Oklahoma. The goal is for all students to score at or above the satisfactory level on the test.
