I have worked at Town & Country School for seven years. It is the best work environment I have had the chance to teach in during my career, the parents and colleagues are so supportive. Most of our students have had previous negative experiences with education and it is apparent when they start school. By the end of a few weeks at T & C, kids begin to come out of their shell, by the end of their first year, they behave like different kids! They show confidence in their abilities, they express a desire to learn, they show more respect in social interactions, they are less afraid of expressing themselves creatively, they make friends and they are happy here! In all my years of schooling and teaching, I have never seen a facility have such an obvious positive influence in a child's life. T & C is a blessing!
This is a wonderful school for children with ADHD. I enrolled my daughter at the first of the year and it has saved her life
Fantastic is all I can think of when I think of this school. The comunication from the teachers is beyound great. The one on one attentention, study skills class, computer skills, and respect given to the students is priceless. This is a school that proves to its students that they are not dump. All students are above average and this school brings that out. ADHD does not have to be a problem. This school teaches the students how to work with or around their learnign differences. Time is not wasted on 'sit still and repeat, again, what you already know'. Students are not held back by a 'everyone must learn at the same level mentality', and in turn if a student needs help with a subject they get it. You walk into the school and see Happy Students. Imagine that. Smiles and an education.
