Tushka has a wonderful school system! The administration is great and as another person said they a good committment to discipline and academics! It is the best school in this area!

Have raised three children in the Tushka schools, and must admit that the main reason we moved our kids to this community, was for the excellant leadership, personal attention given to the students, and their committment to overall discipline, academic improvement, and the closed campus in regards to safety. Have sent two children to college from this school, with one currently at OU, and another heading there next year after graduation. can't say enough good things about the superintendant and his outstanding principals, along with all the fantastic teachers, and support staff.

My son has been in Tushka Highschool for four years. He has had quality teachers and an education that has prepared him for college. The staff is wonderful and very considerate.

Tushka is a great school to go to. It is a small school, with good teachers. And most students like all the teachers. Good curriculum also.

About the tests

In 2008-2009 Oklahoma used the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests End-of-Instruction (OCCT EOI) exams to test students in high school in several subjects. The results for reading and math are displayed on GreatSchools profiles. The OCCT EOI is a high school graduation requirement. The OCCT EOI exams are standards-based tests, which means they measure specific skills defined for each subject by the state of Oklahoma. The goal is for all students to score at or above the satisfactory level on the test.
