Velma-Alma Elementary School is wonderful! The kids are treated with the utmost respect and taught by awesome teachers. Each child is important to the teachers. V-A is awesome!
I am proud everyday that I chose to move my kids to Velma Alma Schools. They are not only getting a great education but are learning integrity, and patriotism.
Teachers do not care. They want a paycheck. They are rude to the kids, call them names. How this school stays open is beyond me. You would think the state would set standards and make sure ALL schools go by them. There is mold in the Kindergarten building and no nurse on campus. They have a pre-first program set up not to help those children who need it but to get themselves more money. They tell parents your child isnt prepared for first grade, Then what was the teacher doing in kindergarten? Im grateful i got my child out of this school!!
This school is a very excellent school and I would recomend it to anyone. They care about each and every student.
Velma-Alma Public Schools is a wonderful place to obtain an education and also to return to teach. We strive to maintain a level of excellence in our classrooms as well as in extracurricular activities.
