Well I believe the school could be better. The teachers need a reminder of exactly whe they are working for. The students. If there were no students they would have too look elsewhere for a job. The education these kids are receiving is horrible. Act scores are low. There is no motivational system within the school and the administratiors seem lacking when it comes to know what their job really is.
I believe that Wanette is an excellent school to go to. There are excellent teachers that are always willing to help with anything that you need. And our administrator, Mr. Riggs, also does an excellent job with what he has to work with. Coming into the school last year with the situation that he had and turing it around to where we are now was a huge step and deserves thanks from students and parents alike. This is also a very good school for extracarricular activities. Nobody is counted out in sports, everyone has a chance to play if they want to. Our Ag program and FFA are second to none, and is still growing and improving with new leadership from Justin Boone, former student and new Ag Teacher at Wanette. There is also great new technology that gets better all the time.
Our school was adding on offices while the students were learning from books that were 10-13 years old. The teachers however were excelent, Yes sometimes they gripe, but then again alot more of the time the students deserve it. Most people dont have a problem fitting in here. We have great technology. A new super R.D.S.
I attended wanette schools for all of my school years and my children attend wanette school. I once was very proud of the school system, but I am no longer. For the past few years it has gone downhill. The kids no longer have pride in their school. The students will be promised an activity as a reward, and always, at the last minute, it will be canceled. The students have come to expect this. As a parent, I always follow through with what I promise my children, why shouldnt the school system? The students are cursed at by one teacher everyday. I don't curse at my kids, and don't send them to school to be cussed at. There aren't enough textbooks, but we have new offices. Rules are bent if your family has money. There are many more problems with this school, too many to list.
i think this school should have more activities, like school dances and stuf i think the children would really like that .
This scholl is really great, you will know everyone here and they are verey nice. you have a chance to play baseball or basketball here, you will make the team. we won nearly all of our games. If you love FFA this is the place to be. our FFA is really growing and is still going, we have an exelent ag ed teacher. Dustin Clardy. our school is geting renovated and so is our ag building, there starting to look good. we also have verey good technology at our school. overall, its a good place to be.
