Sundborn Montessori School is the closest to a true Montessori education that can be found in the Mid-Willamette Valley. Children thrive at Sundborn. When my children attended they couldn't wait to get to school everyday, quite a change from dragging them out of bed and forcing them to go, which was the situation previous to Sundborn. Although my children have been away from Sundborn a few years now, their educational foundation is superior, their social and problem solving skills well beyond the norm, ethics, team-work, and self-reliance strong and well developed thanks to Sundborn Montessori School. They also still maintain friendships from their old school and look to carry those relationships on to middle and high school. Sundborn is well diversified having a good mix of children from differing backgrounds. Parental involvement may be lacking a bit but to be expected with dual working parent families.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
