I love this school!! I was blessed with the opportunity to attend this school for many years and grew spiritually and academically. The teachers genuinely care about the students and want them to excel. Taking the college courses made a huge impact when I went off to college. Not only did I know what to expect, but I already had college credits going in as a freshman. This school is AMAZING and it is obvious that God s favor is upon it!

Life Christian School has a new principal that started the 2012 school year. We had left a school and were homeschooling when a friend told us about the great things "Life" was doing. I was skeptical but realized that my children needed the social aspect in addition to academic. We went in and interviewed the new principal and grilled her on every possible scenario we could (my husband works in education... he knew the right questions). We left the school that day speechless. We knew immediately that God had brought us there specifically to be a part of the amazing vision this school has. I will say that if your school doesn't have a vision and a plan of attack... then you need to ask yourself why you're there!! The communication is top notch, the principal Mrs. Taylor is beyond exceptional. She drives her staff hard! There are not enough stars above for me to rate how happy we are. And we were a tough sell. I noticed a comment about public schools and foul language. Remember ALL of the parents at Life want great things from their kids and ALL of the teachers are ready and willing to expect great things of your children. We are thrilled to be at Life Christian School!!

I am interested in this school for next year to get away from the vulgar/crude talk my kids are around at public school. My fear is though, that this will be anywhere they go. What are your experiences with this at Life? Do your kids tell you about inappropriate things their peers say at Life? I hear it daily from my 4th grader in public school.

My daughter graduated from LCS and I'm thankful to God for guiding me to this school. God blessed our daughter abundantly in this school. The teacher s first priority is the student s well being. The staff and the teachers really care about the student s academic life and their spiritual life. As for the curriculum, LCS has the very best. My daughter wanted to pursue pharmacy at a 6 year direct program so we moved her to the nearby public school. We thought this would provide her with rigorous courses like AP classes.. After going there for a semester we realized LCS actually offered better courses. LCS was truly a great blessing in our lives. My daughter got accepted into college and she is doing great mostly because of the solid spiritual and academic foundation she received at LCS. - Ivy Fredrick

To the Parent who posted on Dec. 9. I invite you to meet with me regarding your concerns. We may be able to resolve some of the issues you believe to be present. The staff has worked hard to develop our five-year strategy for where we will go as a school. It is our top priority to honor God. We believe we do this by educating our students with excellence. The three main areas the school is developing are technology, college prep courses and sports. Next year we will offer even more concurrent college credit classes and AP classes. We will communicate more information about this at our State of School address in January. To qualify for credit every class we offer must be at least 120 hours or more. We offer an advanced math track and have math all the way through Calculus on our campus this year. The block schedule has allowed flexibility to place our students individually, rather than placing all students of one grade in one class. We work to know our students abilities, and place each one in the class best suited for them. I welcome anyone to come meet with me. We have an excellent staff with an exciting future ahead. This school is struggling to find its identity. The school sticks students in study halls rather than offer them electives or an advanced math program. For example the 8th graders have two schedualed study halls. The block schedual means students actually spend less time in each class then they did last year. They were offering a an advanced math track last year but dropped it this year. The elementary school is better than the middle/high school. They only offer college credit classes through one teacher now and thats only everother year. They offer AP classes, but these classes are not the same as a college credit class to the colleges. Its a disapointment.

Our two boys have been attending LCS for going on 6 years and it has been the best decision that my husband and I have ever made. Excellent teachers, staff and a wonderful new principal with a true love for the students as well to the parents. LCS is a true community. My boys love everything about LCS and what it stands for.

Life Christian is an AMAZING school! The teachers are always going above and beyond to make sure students understand the material being taught. I was definately prepared for college because of this school. It has a great, Christian atmosphere that is encouraging and up-lifting. Not only does this school care about student's academics, but also their relationship with Christ. The students are welcoming and supportive of one another. I'm proud to say that I am a graduate of Life Christian School!
