I wish Sagewalk reviews would have existed when we about to put our sone through in January 2007. Dead of winter in the outdoors of central Oregon. Yes, it is very expensive. However, it rocked his world more than anything I could have asked for. Between the transport service (our son would never have let us take him) and the program was nearly $30k. It was worth it. It taught him so much. It mentally broke him down (in a good way) and helped him to figure out what his motivations were for his behaviors. We found out it is best if at all possible to put them in a new environment upon returning from Sagewalk, in other words buy a new house and be in it when they come home. Not practicle for many us. We did change schools. It's accumulative effort. Check out the support group Al-Anon. Good luck!
