How has this school gotten 4/5? The teachers are all lazy and unmotivated, the students just aren't very smart, everything is way to easy, they have no standards whatsoever, and over the whole year I learned pretty much everything I know at home. The teachers don't listen to complaints from students or parents, no one takes us seriously, and the whole school is painted like a gigantic taco bell.

3 days ago I graduated from this school, and throughout my whole experience here I have enjoyed it! The teachers are dedicated to helping students learn, and are more than happy to help if someone may need extra assistance. The academics are challenging without being too over whelming as well, and our new principal is really kind! As for the students, I was never a very popular kid, but the friends I did make were really genuine. One of the only down sides is that I have to leave for high school now :)

Great school. The staff is fantastic. As a Christian parent I am hesitant regarding the public school systems, but this staff has been extremely open and respectful of our family views. My child and her friends really enjoy the staff. Their grade are a reflection of the campus, 4.0.

Parent involvement is only appreciated when it concerns a check. Otherwise, ask questions and you get the brick wall. Take initiative in your childs education, you get red tape and excuses. It's pretty sad and I feel pretty helpless in doing anything about it. My child is becoming one of the 'statistics' because they won't allow me to have a say in what classes she can take.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon.
