I really like Colton Middle School. I think that all the teachers have their different teaching methods, and I like all of them!!!! I'm not quite sure I agree with all of the rules they enforce. Such as, no cell phones. Now, I can understand during class, but if it's at lunch or recess, I don't see how it's bothering anyone. But other than that, I'm so proud to be able to go to school like this. Keep up the good work!!!

This school is a great school. Some of the teachers are just okay. Some teachers don t seem to care about what their students are doing! The principal is alright. It s always very clean. The staff is very nice!

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
