We have two boys at Jefferson. We've had great teachers. The principal is fantastic.
Jefferson is the best school for this community, and in an excellent location. Another nearby school has more demand, but we found the attitudes there a bit snobby and the emphasis on standardized testing a distraction to child development. Jefferson has great teachers, good class sizes, and tremendous parent involvement.
Jefferson has high-quality academics, and the teachers are exceptionally good. Class sizes are a bit big, although they were reduced somewhat this year after additional funding was added. Funds for extracurricular activities seem fairly limited. Parent involvement is exceptional, and the school is very safe and friendly. I feel that my children are receiving a very good education at Jefferson.
