My son went to this school for about 21/2 years. It is run on a 'democratic' model that allows the students to do what they want when they want, within the limits of the school rules. The students make up the rules. They also select the teachers. It was good for my son because he suffers from personality disorders and there he wasn't in constant conflict with teachers over sitting at a desk and doing what they wanted him to. What was difficult was that the student governing system, like most democracies, was corrupt and often self-serving, creating a kind of lord of the flies environment where the weakest kids or the ones the leader didn't like were subject to constant disciplining that often was in the form of suspensions. But by participating on the judicial committee himself, my son did learn some good meeting skills.
