I have one child at this school and she loves it there! She is in the 5th grade and likes her teacher and gets along well with the kids. She nor I have had any bad experiences at the school. She tries to live by the school rules of being safe, responsible and respectful. They have a nice area for playing with a lot of different things to do. The playground staff are always looking for different activities for them to do with saftey in mind. They are nice too.

My daughter is currently in 1st grade and I do like Mrs. Sherman. Although I have had 2 bad experiences there this year related to the principle. I am either going to home school or switch to Little Butte for next year.

I have two children at this school. They have been attending since it was built in 2005. Every year it gets a bit better. The first year was crazy! The next year a bit more organized. This year I see more improvement. I am extremely happy with the Kindergarten program. A bit short of a day but a fantastic teacher Mrs. Johnson is! First grade teachers are great also! One of my children is in the 5th grade and has 2 teachers. I think that after doing this dual teaching for a few years they have worked the bugs out pretty well. I find my child is doing really great with them. I do agree with another parents view of not being fair about the fundraising activities. The whole school should benefit. All kids should be treated equally! All functions should be given to all students, ie: the art workshops, etc.

I have kids at this school. the first grade people are great they really have one on one with the kids. The 5th grade on the other hand is the worst i have ever seen my kid went from top of his class to barely getting buy. they have 2 teachers for one class and the kids are like robots they do not have any one on one and my kid says its the most boring class he has ever had. i do not recomend the dual teacher 5th grade!!!!!

Classes are huge and the teachers [seem] unsupported. The principals secretary is the rudest person I have ever met.

I don't care for the principal either, but all of the teachers I have encountered are fabulous. The two I have observed use excellent teaching strategies and really care about children. The school has finally formed a PTO, which should help involve more parents.

I don't care for the way the principal runs this school. There were several reasons I pulled my son out to home school. 1: there were 71 kids in one 5th grade class room with only 2 teachers. They told my son if he had a question to write it down and they would try to answer it after school! 2: there is one fundraiser a year, and only the children (5-11yrs old) that bring in 50 dollars or more are included in the party celebrating the end of the fundraiser. So when I sent my 3 kids in with 40 dollars each they were excluded because I didn't come up with enough cash. What about the kids who don't even have a chance? It makes them feel terrible. 3: The pricipal also wants parents to wait out side the school, not come in. 4:no running on the playground! What?!
