This is an excellent school with excellent administration, athletics and teachers. Elkton constantly scores very high on state academic tests. They were recently rated as a bronze medal school as one of the top schools in the country. Their class size is small so there is a lot of individual instruction. Teachers arrive before school and stay after school to work with students. Football, Basketball, Volleyball and track teams are consistently at the top of their leagues. If you like small school (about 70 students grades 9-12) atmosphere and values, this is your school.

Academically and athletically Elkton High School is lacking. Leadership within the school is horrible and discipline is below par. Elkton High doesn't prepare a student for the next level especially in the sciences.
