My oldest daughter started as a 6th grader here last year. She's now a 7th grader. SBMS has been the best experience. The staff, leadership and teachers have all been outstanding. Her classes are challenging, but fun. She has found great teachers to be her mentors. The other kids are for the most part, kind and caring. Very little drama. Her electives have been art, choir and guitar, and she has done very well with those pursuits. After hours clubs and sports have been very supportive and fullfilling activities. The parents that volunteer hours of time and energy are amazing. Could not have asked for a better experience for our whole family.

The school is a safe and welcoming environment for my child. The music and art program is amazing and I believe that the money would enhance and maintain a program that alreay speaks to the whole child.

I work in the Life Skills classroom there and the staff and students are so respectful of our students and try to include them in the school's activities.

this school is an excellent option. Including all it's activites and options makes this school small, fun to go to, and I look forward to seeing it progress and ways that will make this community better!

I was forced to have to put my daughter in a Los Angeles Unified School. This was my worst fear so I decided to send my daughter to my mom in Oregon and send her to school in Oregon. After researching the number of schools I decided to send my daughter to Spencer Butte. I can't tell you how proud I am of her accomplishments in such a short period of time and how impressed I am with the school faculty. She has been welcomed with open arms by both the students and faculty. Spencer Butte is such a wonderful school and the teachers are willing to help students achieve to their fullest ability.
