I love that school. My kindergarten daughter and my first grade son was in this school last school year, and after the school was over, the first question from them was: "mom, are we gonna go back to the same school?" I know we have to move and I spent so much time to find something so my kids would have what they wanted. I really want to say BIG thank you to Colette Forwood and Kathleen Hart. My kids and me love you so much!!!

I think this school needs to review their choices of how they handle dicipline of the students. To treat each student fairly and with respect. Adults expect respect, children should get respect also. Also they have no idea on how to handle 'special needs' children. Schools and School district administrators need to have better communication on a 'per child' / 'per situation' basis.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
