North Valley is a relatively small school with a lot of opportunities for students -- lots of AP courses, plenty of electives and great music and forensics programs. The school has a strong administration who work hard to improve what's available for kids. Teachers really care and the school is safe.

I think this is a nice school. It has many good kids and the teachers are also pretty good. There sports programs are excellent.

School culture

Parent involvement
  • We have many wonderful volunteer programs including a very strong booster club supporting the knights, a dozen active aspire volunteers offering college guidance to students, a large annual career fair and community visibility in our career prep programs.
More from this school
  • North Valley is a very safe school and one where we believe strongly in promoting mutual respect. We believe that all students need to be prepared for post-secondary education. We have an active advisory program and every student has a TEAM advisor s/he meets with twice per month. North Valley has a trimester schedule so students take 5 classes at a time. We also emphasize organization and provide every student with a school planner, required for all classes.
