Excellent school, focused on learning, and self direction. It does require parental help and input. Small class sizes lend to one on one attention. The preschool is outstanding. With teachers who care about their students and their success.

Our son started going to school at Phonics Phactory in 2006 as a preschooler. He recieved one on one instruction every day. He learned about God, honesty, and values. He was pushed to his true potential, and really loved his teachers, but most of all, he had fun learning! He is now a fifth grader at this school and is excelling in every subject. The founders of this school truly care about the children and they instill life skills. Our family truly loves this school!

Our three children have developed a love for learning through Phonics Phactory. Our first child attended a different Preschool and the experience was as if he was being babysat, not taught. At Phonics Phactory our children began learning tools for success in the classroom and for life!

We love this school. Our children have loved every one of their teachers. They not only give them a fabulous education, but prepare them for life. I highly recommend this school.

This was my sons first school experience and from the start we had problems with him acting out almost as if he was the class clown. The more we disciplined him at home the worse the behavior was at school and he was asked to leave. I never imagined that they would give up on a five year old, they even recommend medical treatment! Worse than that they ruined my child's disposition on school, his feelings are hurt and he doesn't want to go to preschool again.

Great school. Great staff. I just wish that I had found them earlier. I homeschool three of my four kids for six years before enrolling at Phonics Phactory. I am a christian, my husband is not. I have found this to be a great place and a very welcoming environment for all of us. The time we spent here has been well worth every penny and the results prove it.

I'm a student at MMU, the Middle University part of Phonics Phactory. I went to Phonics Phactory in Preschool-First grade and loved it, my family moved and the budget got tight so I transferred into a public school from Second grade-Sixth. The difference is unbleievable. Phonics Phactory has the ability to provide a strong faith-centered foundation and the teachers are awesome. And of course the 3 day weeks makes it all the better. The workload can get overwhelming IF you don't know how to manage it, but they do provide the skills to learn how to do this as well. I love it.
Outstanding academics! Unique approach to learning, allowing the parents a significant level of involvement but still allowing for a structured school environment. Love that the children are also taught Greatness Phactors that apply manners/morals to everyday life. Phonics Phactory Christian School gives children keys to their foundation for success in academics AND life - which seems to be rare anymore.

Very disappointed in the lack of communication. You better be part of their inner circle or you will be cast aside. Children are not the priority. They seem burned out. There are many better schools on the Eastside and ones that won't shove their beliefs down your throat.

Truly the best private school on the Eastside! Excellent leadership, communication and focus on education. They are very reasonably priced for a private school, especially for how much your child will gain. Our daughter's self esteem soared and her confidence increased! We started her in Kindergarten and moved and she went to public school for one year. Talk about a nightmare! I mean the public school class had 32 children and one very stressed out teacher. Compare to her class at the Phonics Phactory has 15 students (3rd grade!) and 1 very happy and educated teacher! The uniforms are great because it eliminates the need to compete w/ wardrobe and what is cool or popular. Instead the focus is on learning! We could not recommend a better or more thought out school!

The Phonics Phactory has provided a great education for our children. The teachers are well qualified and provide a nurturing as well as challenging academic environment. We have learned to manage our time well to complete the homework, and that is a valuable life skill for each of us to have. We appreciate the excellent education our children are receiving at the Phonics Phactory.

This is my sons first year at Phonics Phactory. I am very impressed thus far. I love the small community feel of the school and I think the parental involvement is great! My son and I love his teacher as well and he is learning so much!

I think Phonics Phactory is a great alternative for a Christian. The people here are amazing, and I wish I didn't have to leave this year. I've gone here all my life. Because of this school, Middle school is my favorite time of my life. The teachers are the best! It may be expensive, but it's WORTH IT. You learn stuff here that you will NEVER forget. EVER.

Contray to what they advertise, Phonics Phactory is not very affordable. Especially now with all of the home school co-ops and charter schools that are super cheap or free! If you break down the cost by days and hours in the classroom, plus add in the cost of the required 'designer' labeled uniform, you are better off paying slightly more for a five day a week school.

I think this school places too much pressure on the students and their parents. If your child is normal and learns at a normal learning pace, then this school is not for you. The school claims their program is two years ahead of public school. What is the point of pushing your child to be ahead by two years?

This school is not for everyone, but we love it! We have a two boys going into second and fourth grade. They have went since preschool. They have excelled academically and have learned respect, discipline, and the good results of working hard. They've went to the M&M (memory madness) Bible class after school and have learned a lot from this. They are happy here and so are we.

Phonics Phactory is committed to quality education at an affordable price. My kids are in 4th grade and PreK. It is a great fit for our family. By spending three days per week at school and two days per week in homeschool activites I feel we get the best of both worlds. If you are looking for quality Christain education Phonics Phactory with deliver.

My son is still young but his attitude has had a drastic improvement. He loves his teacher and his school. He is still young, so when he comes home and knows the sound of his letters at the age of three that blows me away. I do have to say that the last two comments are a little harsh and there has to be more to these stories than what is written. I have NEVER felt anything but warmth taking my son and dropping him off. I do believe that they are a bit costly even for pre-school but thing could be worse, he could be in public school. I have no idea how I will feel when my son reaches 1st grade, but for now he is happy, expensive or not his happiness is all that matters to me.

My family has been a part of the Phonics Phactory from the beginning, it makes us so hurt to see the direction that they have chosen to take. A very black and white way of learning, and a cold feeling from the staff. We have chosen to move on. Good luck!

We left the school because they are so focused on the money end of things (since buying their own building) that the focus on the kids/families is on the back burner. We went there for several year with three of our children. I believe they are great for preschool and even kindergarten---but older than that it's so expensive, they try to run out every day families who simply want a good education and safe experience for their children. They have a high teacher/staff turnover----that says alot and it's not good. It's tough because kids get so attached----and then you sign them up again and the teachers are gone! Each year there are new rules and new expenses---it's simply not fair!! It's sad!
