Mount Hood Christian Pre and Primary School was the best of the best. :-) Unfortunately the school closed it's doors at the end of the 2011-2012 school year after an amazing run, having been in business and serving it's community since 1973!

I have had both of my daughters ages five and eight attend Mt. Hood Christian for preschool and the all day kindergarten program. As a parent with a M.Ed and experience working with students with special needs I know what what a good curriculum and enriching environment looks like for children. Mt Hood Christian provides a challenging, well structured curriculum for it's students in a warm, loving and comfortable environment. Educators at this school value the individual child and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your child's individual needs are met. In addition to academics the school provides Spanish instruction and an excellent music program!I would highly recommend Mt. Hood Christian!!

This year will be the 9th year we have had a child attending Mt. Hood Christian. It is a wonderful school with amazing staff and caring teachers that love what they do. My children have always left Mt. Hood Christian after Kindergarten and been very prepared for 1st grade with excellent phonics based reading skills and math basics. The music program here is wonderful-the teacher full of energy and enthusiasm for music. The programs they do at Christmas are very touching and are always accompanied by a great slideshow. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a nurturing, caring, academic and family oriented preschool and/or Kindergarten.

This is a wonderful school My daughter currently attends the all day kindergarten program. All of the staff are wonderful and offer students a top notch education (pre K-1st grade). The school offers before and after school care for working parents. I would highly recommend Mount Hood Christian to anyone who was interested.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
