I love this school and it's staff. I can call and they know right away who my kids are & where they are. Never had ONE issue with this school or it's staff.

Great School my child is having a great experience. She is excelling more than she has ever in any other school. I beleive its due to the great Teacher's and individual hand on experience that they can offer being a smaller school. I would think a smaller school would mean a smaller advantage for good teachers, but in this case the teachers at Harrisburg Elementary are GREAT teachers.

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
