Evergreen is a great middle school. Middle school is the toughest time for most adolescents, it is a major transition in life. This school covers 7 & 8 grade only. I like that 6th graders are kept in the elementary level. The counselors and staff here do an excellent job of being involved and available for kids and parents. I like the variety of programs and extra curricular activities. Evergreen used to be the top performing middle school in Hillsboro, it has slid "on paper" since the bounary change brought in more ESL and low income students. When looking at the test numbers you need to disect which group your student falls in. For my kids, the high learners, Evergreen excels. Their TAG and Leadership programs have been very beneficial.

I think that Evergreen is a great school! There is alot of teacher involvement with the students and the parents. Evergreen also provides great opportunities for kids who want to graduate. I think that this school rocks!

Our son would never have graduated if it weren't for the one on one support of the staff and principal at Evergreen This was when Mr Moshinsky and Carol Loghner were there. Where ever they are things will go well.

I think Evergreen Middle School lets the students get away with anything and the teachers are terrible! (PArent involvement is low.)

About the tests
