Before I came here, I'd hear people say "Imbler is a great school!" Boy, what I surprise it was when I got there in the 6th grade. The teacher was very rude. He'd yell at people for saying "yeah" instead of "yes". I had medical issues and he'd openly ridicule me almost every day in front of the class. When my mom went to the principal to do something about it, he stood above her and tried to intimidate her. Now a few years later, I'm in high school. I get good grades, but I must say, I learn the most outside of school; Most teachers are terrible. There are a few good ones... But most seem not to care about the students, and it's apparent by the way situations are handled and students are treated. Some teachers have obvious favorites and treat people unfairly. Drugs are also becoming a problem at Imbler too. It's a small school, everyone knows everyone, and word gets around fast. After reading the other review, I can only wish Imbler was really like that. The only good that I've gotten out of Imbler is how to deal with unfair people, tough times, and bad situations.

I have been going to school since kindergarden. I have never felt pressured to make any bad choices. Almost all students from Imbler help one another which creates a family like community and feeling throughout the school. I am currently a Junior at Imbler and I can say, that even throughout my high school years I have received special attention in certain subjects from teachers that today help me succeed. I don't believe I could be as successful as I am today without the help of Imbler High and the staff that works there.
