The staff all work very hard to not only teach the kids but they actually 'know' the kids. The principal knows them by name and they are very goal minded for each child.

I am a former student at Joseph High, and through the years of my enrollment, I learned more about myself than I did in my classes. I feel now that this 'small town' school has the makings of a great school, it only needs more fundings. The people in the small town of Joseph try to give as much support as they can, but how can people support their school district when they can barely pay their bills. I may be mistaken but Joseph has the lowest unemployment rate in the state of Oregon. I don't know how or if it's possible at all, but something needs to happen with the Wallowa county schools.
