I am now in eighth grade and every year has been amazing. We have very dedicated and passionate teachers. I have a transfer from another school, and I really couldn't find a better middle school than CCMS

i go to claggett creek and i think that it is a really good school:) I like all the teachers and when i started at clagget creek it was already the 2 term and i made friends to the teachers more than the students and i think the school a should get 5 stars:) The choirs are really wonderful i highly sugjest that if you are going to claggett creek for middle school you should be in the choir because Mr. Hayden does a really good job teaching boys and girls how to sing.

Wow.that's all i have to say about CCMS. i've gone here since day one of 6th grade, and have pretty much always loved it.the teachers are great, and they actually care about you, which you don't always get to experiance.i think two of the things that make Claggett so great is the athelic and the music departments. the coaches for sports know what they're doing and love to help you out when you need it, sport related or not. The music department is GREAT! As a band student in the advanced band, i can truely say that the band director is the best teacher in the school, because she really wants to help you succed, have fun, and enjoy music. the orcestra is pretty good, and the teacher is cool, although is a little less hairy than some of the other teachers are.

This school may be the best school you can send your child too. It has Great teachers, a very tallented music department( including chior defending champions ), and a great updated curriculum. I would choose this school instead of the over crowded Whitaker the other keizer School.

I've been going to Claggett Creek for almost three years. I started as a 6th grader and learned to much from all the wonderful teachers. I have been in choir from day one, and it really has made me a better person. The teacher is amazing and he's always encouraging people to do better. Our choir is now the best in the North West. I really love this school, and I'll be sad to leave at the end of the year.

My child went to Claggett for three years, now at McNary and very far behind in several subjects. I called teachers repeatedly, e-mailed, didnt get responses back until it was too late to turn in work. This year, my other is attending Claggett. A good student, but lost her binder. Teachers told her couldnt make up work, lost points for not having her agenda, which was in the binder. I contacted the teachers in Nov. about this. One responded January 30th to let me know missing two assignments but grading was now over... so she received a high C. The others never responded at all. I have also asked the school to look into using Mygradebook.com, which is commonly used by other schools so students/parents can always keep up on missing work and grades. I got a 'Thats an idea' and nothing more.

The bad reviews sound like lack of involvmen or lack of rearing. Claggett is a great school! I have one child that has already graduated from there and one currantly attending. Any time there was an issue it was delt with properly. My son, a sixth grader this year has made honer roll all year and receved 'Teachers Choice' award in choir. Last year in fith grade he hardly made the mark. The teachers at Claggett are verry dedicated other wise he would not be where hes at!

My son has spent the last three years at Claggett Creek. I was not impressed with the staff involvement. I had some concerns after receiving a progress report, and decided to email several of the teachers. ONE responded. It was very disappointing. There were however a few teachers there that were enriching to my sons education. Perhaps our biggest concern, were the amount of threats and bullying allowed inside the school. Our son felt unsafe on a daily basis. The administration was unhelpful, and in fact contributed to his problems by inflaming issues and causing students to retaliate against our son. Overall, our family had an extrememly negative experience with this school.

My child finished his second year at Claggett in 2004. The staff is outstanding, especially the math department. The technology and computer courses are excellent. The music department has been honored as one of the top in the NW. The football team was #1 not to mention the leadership/peer helper programs.
