After several years at Oceanlake across the street, my daughter's one year here is a breath of fresh air. Our family is not religious, however the positive atmosphere and support for all by all is welcoming. Teachers are not quick to leave at the last bell with the students...they are devoted to their work. Its a small community, after 3 months the principal knew my first name. There are expectations both academically and behaviorally that are met by the majority of the students, as can be seen by the well deserved majority receiving academic honors. 4 stars only because I've only seen 1 year so far...

My children have been very happy at LCSDAS. They beg us to stay in this town until they can finish high school there. The teachers work hard, and the other parents are very helpful and supportive of their children's education.

I attended this school for grades 2-12, and it prepared me very well for college and 'real life.' The teachers really care about their students, and students are challenged to strive for their personal best in all aspects of life. Overall, this is a top-notch school!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
