My boys went to Oak Grove last school year (06-07). We had one in second, and one in Kindergarten. This was not our first school, and this year, we are even at a new school in Eugene. I have to say, that Oak Grove was our very best experience in an Elementary setting! Its a world of difference going from a 'reading first' school to one that isn't. Both of my boys are now in the top of their class, and my 1st grader is in the 99% in the district for math. I know their success has so much to do Oak Grove's standards for their students. I wish we could go back. My boys even make comments about how they wish we were still there.

This is our first experience with Oak Grove Elementary School. 'Our student' is in first grade. She seems to be energetic, willing to learn, and do her homework, without much disagreement. I am very pleased with her teacher's ability to 'nip-in-the-bud' any difficulties he may acquire, as soon as he 'spots' them! This is a need, for 'our' little student this year. I do not know of any extracurricular activities, as of yet, but will learn more concerning this, as the second term soon begins. Thank you very much, for the opportunity of providing feedback here!
