Mulino school has great teachers, but the school is a little run down. There are many activities for the students to enjoy such as carnivals, field trips, bingo night, movie night, swimming, and farm-to-market. The parents organization is awesome. My only complaint is the 50 minute bus ride two times per day. The kids are often unruly and my daughter constantly begs me to take her to school (a ten minute drive).
On the average i would say that this school is good and the teachers are great. But i half to agree wtih another posting, it seems that if your child lags a little behind they have no problem putting them into a special ed class, where the teacher only spends a couple hours a week there since she also handles the other 4 elementary schools in district. If you are looking for that extra help with your child, don't look there.
The schools in this district have been neglected to the point that the buildings are in bad disrepair. I am happy with the teachers though. My boy does enjoy going to school and his skills are good.
If your child is average they will do fine. On the other hand if your child is special needs you might want to run in the other direction. You will not get the help you need.
this is a wonderful school!
I went ther the teachers are awsome!
