My daughter has a strong base in math and reading at the 2nd grade level, yet she is given freedom to work at her speed. The teachers she has had (K-2) have been great! I know the school didn't not receive a great rating from the state, but I have not seen any learning issues with my child.
So far I have been impressed with the new principal Brody Guthrie. I have seen him in the mornings greeting the kids as they arrive at the school, he is very friendly and listens to the parents too. I have two boys one in 5th grade and the other in 3rd grade and so far it is going well. The PTAS (Parent Teacher All Stars) group has been working hard at planning the events throughout the year. This is a great school.
Tri city is a hard working, strong and creative school.
