We were very happy with the primary grades when class sizes were ~20 kids. However, as my son moved into the secondary grades along with the increased class sizes, we noticed a degradation in the quality...especially the lack of homework & parent feedback. Once my son entered junior high, we fully understood the lack of preparation, especially in math & science. We are currently working with tutors to enable him to be prepared for advanced high school studies & college. After this experience, we have enrolled our younger daughter in private school, where she is learning more than my son was ever exposed to.
This school and faculty are fabulous! Sadly, we had to move out of state 2 yrs. ago and I miss the quality education my kids would be receiving if we were still there. From the principal to the teachers and staff, everyone works hard to ensure each student recieves the best education possible. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming that the school and community just seem to be an extension of family. We especially enjoyed Mrs. Allen who taught Kindergarten. She is a great asset to that school and we were very fortunate to have her teach our daughter. She was amazing with the kids and it didn't matter what level or ability she seemed to help each student reach outstanding academic milestones and just about everyone was reading by the end of the school year. We hope to move back soon!
