I do not believe that the some of the staff have enough of a concern for bullying in this school. My children got piked on not only on the bus but at school as well. I voiced my concern on many many different occasions and I feel it never got a resolution. I am not one of theses parents who believe my children are perfect, I do believe kids will be kids, but the way some of these children were allowed to act was out of control, and the lack of authority by the staff was disgusting. I would never recommend anyone let their children go to this school no matter what the locals may tell you.

I have homeschooled my chilren until this year, my children are in 1st and 3rd grade this year. I have been very impressed with the quality of education they have recieved at Cairo Elementary. The staff are pleaseant, and Mrs. Robertson, (the third grade teacher) has been absolutely fantastic with meeting my 3rd grader's needs. For the first time in my 3rd graders life I have not worried whether or not she is being challenged enough. Mrs. Robertson guides her, and lovingly pushes her to continue to excel. In a town with few good schools, I am truly grateful for Cairo Elemtary. Returning to work has been that much easier knowing my children are being cared for, and taught by some of the best teachers in the area. I also want to mention the librarian the music teacher. They too, are exceoptional teachers.
