If you have a choice don't go to the OMS!
*The students are given only "3 minutes" between classes.
*After "2" tardies" they deny lunch!
The students only source for their certified "t-shirts" are only found at one local store. The shirt with the logos cost $20 apiece.
*Students are not allowed to wear (or bring to school) coats.
*All students are required to wait outside all buildings (regardless of weather) before the school day begins.
*The school's intercom BLARES out the message of the day. "For those unlucky few whom had the same experience while in prison."
*The school principal is unwilling to yield to doctors advice or care about parents and guardians concerns.
*There is only one police officer on campus and he usually stays in his office close to the principal. There are many parents whom complain about the Oregon Middle School, and this officer is there only to mainly protect those in the office and the principal herself!
*Again, this is not a school. Its a prison with the latest a multi-million dollar grant could provide.
We moved into this school district and my student has had a terrible time. It's very click-ish. The school is at least 70% Hispanic and most of them are related to each other, or has grown up together. The students and teachers are not welcoming to out-sliders. There is at least one middle school teacher that is a huge bully. She makes fun of my disabled daughter in front of other students. This is a terrible school and school district. I encourage people that are new to the area to choose the Idaho side of the Border. Avoid this School!
