My Granddaughter is in First Grade there and is so far ahead of first graders in other schools. They are learning so much about conservation and the environment as well as all the other core classes. The teaches there make learning FUN.

Of the hook GREAT SCHOOL! So lucky to be here and be part of this school & community. Teachers are OUTSTANDING! Really care about each child. Will move your child to a higher class if they are in Kindergarten and reading at second grade level then they go with the second graders for reading and come back to Kindergarten for math. Could not be happier with the education.

Springwater is not only an amazing education for my daughters, it's a wonderful community, where the parents are very involved in learning and the families get to know and support each other. The teachers are truly dedicated to knowing each student and honoring who they are, and helping each student reach his/her full potential. I love how they infuse science and scientific inquiry into all subjects to instill and maintain children's love of learning, and how hands on the learning is by having the students learn outside - and learn to love the outside! - during Friday Field Studies. Finally, this is a school where the teachers explicitly teach character traits like kindness, respect, caring, empathy, etc - these are just as important in children's growth and development as academics! As a K-8 community, the students really work and learn together, and have opportunities for both learning from mentors, and exhibiting leadership. I couldn't recommend a school more highly, and feel so lucky for this to be my daughters' K-8 educational experience!

Springwater is a K-8 program that intergrates environmental sciences throughout the curriculum utilizing inquiry and project based learning. I am very happy that my children have the opportunity to be a part of this amazing community. If you are considering a school that cares deeply about education, the enviroment , social responisability and outstanding teachers then consider Springwater.

My son was selected or drawn in the lottery and we have been so thankful. As a teacher, I see a difference in the way they are taught, valued, etc. There is a great sense of community at this small school. Only one class for each grade, and only 22 kids per class. The teachers are passionate and have interesting environmental science backgrounds and life experiences. Neat bunch of people, super bunch of kids.
