As a new kindergarten parent I have been overjoyed with the school. The other parents have been very welcoming and my daughter has made many friends and really likes her teacher. All of the kids have great manners and the curriculum seems to be challenging. My daughter has shown an aptitude for reading and the teachers have identified it and are giving her more challenging work because of it. I highly recommend SJF.

Our 3 daughters are 3rd generation parishioners, 2nd generation students. Couldn't be happier with entire program - academic, extracurricular, social, athletic and staff. Strong Christian values permeate the entire school - this basic foundation is the defining reason for coming to SJF and worth the additional expense. Strong family atmosphere; several legacy families currently enrolled but also a very welcoming environment for newcomers/non-Catholics.

We love the St. John Fisher community. It is a community in every sense of the word. We also attend church there. We have been highly impressed by the teachers. They really care and take time to teach to each child at their level when possible. Also, there is a big emphasis on teaching peace and caring for others. We feel that SJF teaches to the WHOLE child: mind, body and spirit.

In our third school year at St. John Fisher and couldn't be happier. Staff is kind, caring, and well-rounded. Kids are happy and well-behaved. No tolerance for bullying. Older kids involved in watching out for younger kids which creates a cohesive atmosphere between all of the kids and staff. Parent involvement strongly encouraged. Academic program is strong. Community service projects are also encouraged. I always feel welcome. Not a snooty atmosphere. You don't have to be Catholic to attend. The education is unbeatable. I plan to send my other children here too.

The community at St John Fisher is warm, caring and inclusive. We are not Catholic, but feel very much a part of the community, active in parent groups, and well received socially. Our son has a small class, where they have recognized his abilities and strive to keep him challenged. We feel it is a great fit for our whole family.

We put 2 kids through this jewel of a K-8 school; when we had to move to CA public schools, our kids were waaay ahead of the curve. Supportive school community & staff. Parents can't coast here, lots of volunteering & involvement required, but so worth it.
