The teachers care about their students and their success, or they wouldn't be teaching in that kind of atmosphere. There is lots of staff per classroom to help the kids. Great parent/teacher communication if you so desire. They have fun things like music, talent shows, reward programs, parties...they aren't missing out. And it is very consistent - every day - which kids thrive on. My son went from hating to school at his previous location, to loving school and being successful!
giving candy to kids without the parents knowledge or consent when they have disabilities is not being dedicated to their reintergration to the public school system. you are supposed to be the experts on kids with develpomental disabilities. giving a child with adhd sugar is a BAD IDEA!!!! expecially a child who is autistic and adhd!!!
This school offers kids with emotional/behavioral difficulties a chance to learn the skills to help them reintegrate to normal public schools. The teachers and behavior staff here are so dedicated to the kids!
