this school is awesome and terrible all at the same time. the students will treat you realy well and be your friend, if you fit in... but if you dont fit in, your out of luck. :/ there are several teachers who are really awesome, but most of them are really mean...

I am a former student of Parkrose middle shool, now in the seventh grade, and let me tell you, this school is awesome! I had a lot of fun at this school. The teachers were friendly, and I like how PE was an optional elective. The band was also great, and this school is awesome!

About the tests

In 2009-2010 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 in reading and math; in grades 4, 7 and 10 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
