Virginia Sullivan's CCHS Hi-Q Team:(1972-73) 2 PhD, 2 MD, 1 DDS, 1 JD (with MA) Not too bad. This must be a pretty good school.

Shut it down, fire the incompetent teachers and staff. School is for education, not wasting school time and money on playing sailor.

I have three children in CCHS- I am dissapointed to say the least in the supervision of the students. The staff at CCHS do not pay attention to the kids and the academics are lacking.

Crook County High School is now making a great effort to improve. We have a new principal and it looks like he may be able to turn things around for this school. There has been a lot of teacher turn around. Some of the teachers are very inspirational if your child is lucky enough to get the good ones. Some have been there for a long time and cannot change their style of teaching. They have an internet program for attendance and academics which is extremely helpful for parents, except that not all the teachers will use it. Their sports programs are excellent and have been more affordable than other schools nearby. I think the new principal is trying very hard to increase the level of parent involvement

Our principal has resigned because of his own personal issues, but other than that the main two problems of the school would be the students trash. The second problem is the fact that the schedule keeps changing, and they will do this until they find one that works best.
