Overall, this school is a nice option to have available in the community and I'm glad it exists. While there are still problems and problematic personalities within its walls, the problems are not as extreme as they appear to be in the other local public school options. It should be noted, however, that the sense of perfection RPA likes to imply is a true farce and they are not living up to the great ideals they like to espouse. Here is where you'll receive emails containing signature lines with quotes by Ghandi and at the same time be unable to get your concerns across should your child be mistreated by a long standing staff member. It's just as clannish as any other institution in the field. What is nice about the school are the incredible class offerings, completely outside the box. Classes like rock climbing and Conspiracy Theories. I also notice a high concentration of students who look like they might not be received well at the local (and somewhat redneck) high school. Again, I'm glad the school is in place but I wish they'd do a better job of standing behind their "we are one" motto.
