A couple of the teachers should be replaced with ones excited to do a great job and serve their students - after all, that's the whole point of a public school. Administration - particularly the principal - is weak. Some office staff very unprofessional. Most of the support staff is great - aides, learning center, computer lab, special ed. There are teachers and support staff that really shouldn't be working with children. District and board unresponsive to parent concerns.

The parents at this school have worked very hard and have fought tooth and nail to keep desirable programs, like art and music, afloat. And of course, the kids are great! Unfortunately, leadership is lacking at this school and the teaching my child received was very uneven. Personal experience with some teaching staff was extremely unprofessional. A small school like this one doesn't afford much choice when teachers aren't meeting your child's need. And the principal is doing very little to weed out those teachers who are just 'biding their time,' while they waste the precious time of the students they are trained professionally to serve and inspire.

This school is set in a gorgeous setting. Most of the teachers are decent. There are a couple that I wish we could avoid, but the down fall with a small school is being stuck with the only teacher for that grade. We have found that the principle is not always good at actually listening to the concerns of the parents.

Lovely homey atmosphere. Terrific staff - Amazing PTA. My child is in the third grade and her teacher is absolutely fabulous. Looking forward to the outdoor education program in the future.

Beautiful setting. A historic school set on a knoll surrounded by evergreens. It's very small so you get to know everyone's name very quickly. My son's kindergarten teacher is awesome. She is patient, nurturing, and makes learning fun. Class size is pretty big but that seems to be the sign of the times. Unfortunately, for such a small community there is not a lot of parental involvement.

The school setting is very pleasant and most of the teachers are excellent. Class sizes are ridiculous-some classes have over 35 students. Teacher's aides are good but office staff is unprofessional.
