I agree with almost everything everyone else has posted before me. I will be a senior this year at North Lake, and I love it here. The small class size is ideal for learning easily (I've even had classes with two other kids!), and the larger classes only have maybe 20 kids. It is very easy to learn here. The school doesn't fully prepare kids for the future, but there is a counselor there that helps every student. She helps seniors fill out scholarships and college applications when parents can't. She helps keep the seniors on task when turning in their scholarships and college applications as well. Although North Lake doesn't have very sport other schools have, there are these sports: Football, Volleyball, Basketball (girls and boys), Wrestling, and Baseball (girls can be on the team as well). I highly recommend this school!

My son attends this school. He loves the small class sizes (ten kids in one class) in some grades. The teachers are keeping pace with larger schools. My son's education is important to them and they have just as many after school activities as larger ones. My son is doing very well here.

I felt that this school did nothing to prepare the students for the real world or even for college. There were no academic advisors that helped with class schedules, or applying for scholarships. Poor budget, and an even worse school board. I would not relocate to subject my children to this lack of education!

North Lake school is a very well educated school. Smart students. Not to long ago Barry Anderson a former High school student at North Lake got a letter from Princeton University to go to a football camp. Football is a major sport at North Lake school. As well as Basketball. Keep up the good work North Lake!
