I absolutely love and miss this school! I went here as a freshman and everyone is so nice and the teachers are the best because they like to have fun with their students. Go Millers!

My son, Devin, and the great author, Ken Kesey, are both Millers! Seriously, I believe SHS is a good school, as are all of the Springfield schools. Devin only attended for 2 years, but had a most excellent experience in Mr. Harmon's shop classes, graduating with honorable mention, and a small scholarship, helping toward his eventual ME degree from OSU.

About the tests

In 2012-2013 Oregon used the Oregon Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (OAKS) to test students in grades 3 through 8 and 11 in reading and math; in grade 11 in writing; and in grades 5, 8 and 11 in science. The OAKS is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Oregon.
