This was a great school that equip me very well for life after I left. Not only were the teachers helpful in every way, but the small town atmosphere of the school was something that helped me, and many of my class mates, have a great learning environment. Every staff member will go out of their way to help the students. My grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and siblings have all gone to Cascade and would not hesitate to agree with me. There are always greedy people out there and Cascade has currently solved that problem once it arose. I makes me sad when people can not look past their OWN selfish ideas to see that all these teachers and staff alike have chosen a career that's main focus is the students! Cascade is a great school and everyone who has graduated from there would agree!

Cascade High School was incredibly disappointing and is an unsatisfactory educational environment. The school is run by inconsiderate, selfish, power-hungry idiots with no concern for the students' weel-being. There is absolutely no sign of adult leadership at this school. I removed my children from the school when I found that my children's academics, education, and future success were treated like a joke. Cascade is a joke! I highly reccomend considering another school for your child or home-schooling them. I have lost all respect for this institution.

I can't say this is the best school ever, but I can say that I liked it quite a bit. The smaller atmosphere allows you to know everybody in your class and have decent relationships with most of them. I have met some of the biggest influences in my life at this school, the teachers. Mr. McBeth my 10th grade US history and Holocaust teacher was one of the most amazing people I have met in my life without a doubt. I think the balance between sports and education is perfect. I'm glad I went to this high school.

As a former student at Cascade, I did feel adequately prepared as I left high school. I took all of the required classes while participating in sports. After talking to a lot of my friends, they too feel that Cascade does as good of a job as any in preparing us for college and life. In fact, in the basic writing classes that freshman are required to take at my college (Eastern Oregon University), I noticed that I was MORE prepared than the other students. This is because I was taught how to form an essay or a paper, along with other basics needed whereas other students hadnt even heard of a thesis statement(which I learned about at Cascade).

Cascade High School is a poor environment for education. As a former student I felt awe when I entered my college education. There were expectations of knowledge, and in most instances the things that were required were not taught at Cascade. Most students don't know the proper way to write a formal essay or paper. The emphasis is placed on getting the bare minimum taught and then shoving the kids out the door. It is sad to me when I think of all the kids that have been educated so poorly. A child cannot teach themselves everything and it is not too much to ask that a teacher be willing to provide a good base for life. An emphasis is placed on sports rather than academics. Life isn't learned on the playing field. At some point you have to hang up your cleats and move on to the real world.
