For a small school, the principal and teachers work hard to make it a safe and positive expereince for the students. I wish the community would fix the building.

This is a fantastic little school. They have a caring staff and leaders who care about education and their students. By the way, my child took college math from this school and was thrilled with the quality of instruction. Also, there are NO students who go to the college to take math classes and NO students take general math to avoid the math curriculum. If you are going to make a comment on this site, please make sure you have all the facts.

The math program offered at this school is quite poor. The offerings are limited and instruction is poor. As a result some students drive to the local community college for math classes rather than staying on campus. Many students, who would normally take the higher math courses, take the basic math courses so that they don't have to deal with aggessive and inadequate instruction.

Great little school! It's not fancy but they do try to provide a balanced education for their students. There is much more than PE and competitive sports at YHS.
