Physical Activity Increases Scores

MagnetMom April 14, 2010

An article in USA Today points to a recent study that shows that students that get PE and recess have better attention and increased test scores. While this seems like a "duh" moment for most parents, I wonder why more schools don't understand the correlation.

Do your children get enough physical activity during the day? What are ways your schools incorporate quick bits of activity to refocus students?

Here is a great physical activity for children. Take their phones and video games and throw it as far as you can and have the children retrieve it. Do this until they get tired .
