We quit. As a parent, I have a right to protect my child. The school wouldn't enforce, so I pulled him and he is doing really well in home school. I work too, it's a little demanding, but less stressful than fighting their systems!!

Yes. he was bullied for being gay. he went to a christian school. they should have supported him. but they kicked him out.

I know some of us (including me) have been brought up to not fight and look the other way, but in cases like this, make sure your child is aware of his/her right to protect him/herself without any consequences at home. next post

My son is being bullied right now and as much as i confide in the school,i get no help only denial. My son feels helpless and is a emotional wreck, but i will not stop til the matter is resolved no matter what i have to do!

Yes. We let the school know what was happening and let them do their job. No reason to be upset with the school when we are not there to see everything. Then, at home we worked with our son to know how to handle it.
