I have a 2nd grader who struggles with social skills, Recently every night just before bed he complains his tummy hurts, but he's eating and playing well. he had a checkup 3 days ago and everything is fine. I had a talk with him to see if everything was okay at school, and to make a long story short, he don't want to go to school, because he don't have anyone to play with. :( it breaks my heart to hear that this is going on. I forgot to mention that he has ADHD. I wonder if there are special programs @ school that help with these situations. If you know any please mssg me.

Hi lopezm82,
Make an appointment to speak with his teacher. His teacher will likely know what's going on in the classroom and even on the playground. Perhaps she can pair him up with a buddy for lunch and play at recess. It might even be an older child.
You can encourage him to see if there is a program he can help in the library or help with the kindergarteners during his recess too.

His teacher should ideally try to help him make friends and in some schools the school guidance counselor can help with that as well.
