This school a less than average school. There is bullying, fights, suspensions to say the least. Our daughter is not having a good experience. The principal never calls you back. The administration takes the word of other students and as a result our daughter is the one who is paying the price. Our friend's son was involved in a "fake marijuana" incident and was suspended. The best thing you can do is deal with the assistant superintendent. He's the one we used to deal with when he was the principal and you'll get farther with him than you will with the woman principal. No continuity, no professionalism and no good communication.

This school is more than just a bunch of kids in a average school. Theirs quarrels, fights, romance, laughter. I mean to have the privilege to attend this school and share that with your friends from kindergarten to 12th grade is nothing short of magical. It makes me tear up just to know that years from now I will look back and remember the good old days. And I attended this school since 5th grade and I am in 7th and I regret not coming here sooner. I really do. And I am sorry to know that your children can't share that. It is really sad. I see that their are bullies and other things that don't rub people the right way but this is more than a school it's a family. A big happy family. And when I look back and remember all that happened and will happen makes me fell like it was the greatest time of my life. That's what schools should be like and this school is like that. Look I can write 500 pages about how much I love Parkland but if you remember one thing remember this. Brotherly love should be established everyday of every month of every year. And that's what happens at Parkland

A lot of bullying. No support on the part of the principal. Problems with cheerleading. School could use consistent male leadership.

We transferred to Springhouse mid 7th grade year, from another state. I actually picked our apartment based on the ratings of the school. Much to my disappointment. Now I can't blame the teachers or the principal for this, but the kids, as a whole, are very mean, and rude. My daughter was very hurt that she couldn't seem to be accepted by any of her peers. The girls were so mean, and so rude to her. We quickly realized it seemed to be a school for rich, snobby kids. I was stunned at some of the things that were going on at lunch. Needless to say, we've moved, bought a home and GLADLY in another school district!
