Definitely the worst school in Allentown. I always hated Central. 95% of the teachers were mean 90% of the teachers were childish 5% of the teachers were generous I never received a 1st, 2nd, or even a 3rd place ribbon at the end of the school ceremony and that happened to me when I was at central for 5 years even though I've done so well. I even had to take the bus to central because my house was really far away from central which my address was 424 Greenleaf Street. After I graduated from 5th grade, I felt really jealous, angered, and unlucky because I got no rewards or nothing even though I've done so well; and I didn't want to see central again as long as I lived.
this school has the best staff to help our kids achive all their goals they provide many programs to make sure every student gets good grades and pass grade
my girls go to central and they love it its wonderfull when your kids want to go to school every day my hats off to the staff great job
my daughter started at central knowing no english and in less than 5 months she reads and understands it and speak it very well thanks to all her teachers.
The teachers, staff and administrators at Central work unbelievably hard to reach the students in Central. We work with students who deal daily with one or a combination of factors such as: poverty, hunger, abuse, emotional distress/trauma, peer-induced self-deprecation, peer-induced anxiety, etc. The teachers here in Central make every effort towards making the classroom a 'safe' place' for all students, as well as a place where they can all learn. It is a most challenging proposition but the teachers do their job well. Don't judge a book by its cover, please take the opportunity to read it thoroughly first. Central is a tough school, but it is most definitely a good one.
The school is not so great, the principal is doing his best to bring the school up to part but unfortunately some of the teachers are not to good at the job. Dont get me wrong some are great but alot are meger.
I Have 2 children that go to Central School I have 10 year old in 4th and a 9 year old in 3rd. My children are very respectfulfto there per as well as adults every teacher they had I have not had any problem with. They help mu children when help is needed and I am contact about any issue my children may be having my children have done learning zone. saturday scholars which is the best thing they could have come up with. I thing the school does the best to there abilities
central elementary is a respectable school in a rural area.the teachers along with the faculty do as much as possible with 1the funds that they have and the parents support.if u wish to make the school better lend a hand or give a donation towards the childrens education.my child went to central at 7yrs of age and got a great education and respect for knowledge.
My 7 year old attended central elementary school for 1st grade and 3 months of 2nd grade.. Central elementary school's assistant principal is a rude person, the school is voted one of worse in the state there is no effort being made to change there status if you have a chance like I did to move your child out of the school take it. Parents are not involed in the school. There extracurricular activities are learning zone 2 days aweek and a soccer team boy scouts and girl scouts there academics. Needs alot of work
There isn't a nice surrounding area of the school. The faculty members are nice. Central has had some trouble, but is on the rise of becoming a better school. They have the regular specials for the children to enjoy, such as music art and gym. The parent involvement is not too high, most of the kids come from unfortunate backgrounds.
