Francis D Raub Middle School

I am a parent. The teachers in this school really care for your child! My child was bullied and they took care of it and the other student now has community service and out of school suspension. The asst. principals took care of the problem. I never did see the principal get involve though. Like all parents, you must be involved in your child's education! It is not always the teachers fault other children aren't disciplined! It is usually t the parents that say "Not my Johnny"

Worst school I've ever come across...my daughter has been bullied severly since the 1st day of her 7th grade year to the point that I have her seeing a psycologist. Teachers act just as bad...there constintly having lock downs because of the kids....there uncontrollable and the faculty is doin nothing about it...I put her name on the waiting list for charter school, until then she is gonna be transferred out of Raub...I really want her out of the school district all together but we were told my the Allentown school didtrict that we would have to pay $8000 because its a whold different district....I fear for my daughter everyday....DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!!

BEST SCHOOL EVER! people keep speculating that this place is terrible. Im tell you right now, its better than texler or southmountain! i love it here! this is my last year, and 3 years ago, we would get a bomb threat everyday. But now, he havent had ONE for over 2 years :) its not as bad as people say it is. It's a very good school, they got soooo many aftrschool activities too! DO send your kids here! thumbs up

I'm a gifted student that attends here. I wouldn't call this school the best but it is not the fault of the staff. The students are the problem. There are too many and carry an attitude of disrespect and superiority. The teachers and staff are wonderful though.

Bless the teachers and the administration. My child went to Raub for 3 years and I prayed for his safety every day. I am appalled at the disproportionately high percentage of violence that occurs at this school on a daily basis. I got my child out of this school district as soon as I could.

I'm a parent and I don't recomend this school to no parents , Kids with bad attitude it look the school for a movie the Subtitude , they have good teacher like the music teacher but the true it is the some of the teachers with my expirience with my two daughters no was the best one

I attend Raub Middle School right now I see fights almost everyday. Parents dont send your children to Raub Middle School. It has a very bad reputation, and has to many problems with finances. Even as kid that goes to this school I'd be able to tell someone that. The teachers there are pretty cool though. I dont like Raub at all.

Raub middle school is the school I went to as a child and is not what is used to be, my son attended this school as a gifted student and now my daughter started 6th grade this year, she tells me there's 48 kids in her class, the majority so reckless they make the teacher cry! I'm definitely moving out of the district this summer.

Raub middle school is in my opinion, an average school. Their overall criteria is average. For the above average student, life in Raub is excrutiatingly boring, even in the honors program.

My children have never experienced problems with any of the Allentown School District's academic programs, and they have always excelled. As with any program, I'm sure improvements can always be made. Extracurricular activities are available, but not well organized. Planning, organization and communication skills need improvement at both the Middle School and High School level. Although there is some parental involvement, it's not enough. It could be the demographics, or it could be lack of parent-friendly leadership on the part of the Raub MS administration.
