For the most part the School is Great. There a few thing that need improved mostly the Teachers need to know who is the one in charge. Also some of the Teachers need to be a little more approachable. There some kids scared of the teachers, and no one should be afraid to ask the teacher a question. This happens at Irving

Did not like this school, feel they wanted to be private with public money. Took the family out of the child and replaced with an govt. run institution. Has a school knows best attitude.

I feel the school is sound academically, music and sports are sound but parent mandadorty hours is sometimes tough. Area where school is located is on the low end, also very hilly in referance to winter time. I grade overall a B-.

I am not a parent but I attended Irving Elementry when I was younger, Irving Elementry has a great impact on people. the teachers care and they work with the children not against them. when i was about 7 Irving elementry decided that two many kids were being verbally and physically abused do to the difference in clothes style, so to help this problem they took sugestions from students and parents which i feel is very reasonable and a great oppertunity for the kids and parents to be involved. after great thought they passed the law for uniforms and were the first local pennsylvania school to pass this law. I also feel that they keep the parents involved by weekly reports and counciling sessions with the students and school parent teacher confrences. Irving Elementry holds many great memories for me and many other people that's where I met my best friend.
