Lower Gwynedd Elementary School

While LG is a good school, as are the majority of the schools in this district, too many children are stuck up, yes children which gets worse. But you can't expect much else from a wealthy district. The teacher and community are great though,

I am continually impressed by the Principal and staff at this school. The dedication to the students is extraordinary. The quality of instruction is tremendous. We are thrilled with the quality of education our daughter is receiving, as well as the kindness and generosity of these professionals. I have all the confidence in the work in the principal and the educators at LGE. We feel very fortunate that our daughter is attending this truly ground breaking and nurturing school. The parents are alwasy welcomed and treated as valued partners. Great school!

Lower Gwynedd has wonderful teacher and many activities for the children. Sadly, the new principal for the 2009-2010 school year is not able to answer emails, understand school policy or it's implementation, or really know what is going on at the school. The principal has become a joke amongst the parents. The principal is not mean in anyway but lacks ability. Fortunately, the teachers are extraordinary and hopefully, the principal will gain knowledge or be replaced.

Lower Gwynedd elementary is a truly fantastic school. We have some wonderful teachers and all around great support staff. I am very involved in our school and continue to be impressed.

My daughter is now enrolled in the new Lower Gwynedd Elementary School and the Wissahickon School District has really come a long way since I graduated just 8 years ago. As a former student and a local active resident, I have tracked the changes and can honestly say that it's not the same school I went to. They've done a terrific job shaping up all three of the schools and making the area a more pleasant, safe place to live!
